The WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Sweet Itch Shield Fly Sheet Combo is designed for horses prone to sweet itch, skin irritation, and insect sensitivity. Built with a highly breathable 600 denier ripstop outer fabric, this durable rug effectively prevents and limits tears while remaining lightweight during warm weather. It features a full-coverage design, including an integrated stretch panel from the poll to the ears to hold the neck cover secure, an elasticized large belly wrap, and an extended three-piece tail flap for superior protection against biting midges and flies. To ensure maximum comfort and prevent rubbing, the rug is equipped with a smooth 210T lining at the shoulders, mane, and tail, along with memory foam wither relief pads that gently lift the sheet to distribute pressure. Offering over 95% built-in UV protection, it safeguards your horse from sun bleaching and harmful radiation. Traditional side gussets provide excellent freedom of movement, while twin adjustable quick-clip front closures and an adjustable tail cord ensure a customized, secure fit.

    FAQ

What measurements do you need to take for your horse?

To find the correct size, measure your horse from the center of the chest, across the widest part of the shoulder, and straight back to the furthest point of the rump just beside the tail. This total length in inches will correspond directly to the blanket size needed, such as this 75-inch option.
What specific skin condition or pests are you trying to manage?

This sheet is specifically engineered to manage Sweet Itch, an allergic reaction caused by the bites of tiny Culicoides midges. The tightly woven 600 denier ripstop fabric forms a physical barrier that prevents these small insects, along with standard horseflies and mosquitoes, from reaching the skin.
Can this fly sheet be worn safely in hot summer weather?

Yes, it is designed specifically for summer use. The 600 denier fabric is highly breathable and lightweight, allowing air to circulate freely around your horse while reflecting hot sunlight and shielding the coat from UV radiation.
Is this WeatherBeeta fly sheet an authentic USA import available in India?

Yes, this is a 100% authentic WeatherBeeta product imported directly from the USA. Rudra Retails sources genuine equine gear directly from licensed American suppliers to ensure Indian equestrians receive original, premium-quality international products.
How does the memory foam wither pad help sensitive horses?

The memory foam wither relief pad is designed to mold specifically to the contours of your horse's spine. By creating a gentle lift, it reduces the constant downward friction and pressure that standard horse blankets often place on the sensitive wither area, preventing rubs and sores.
