Thames And Kosmos SolarBots Cosmic Explorers STEM Experiment Kit Build Five Solar Powered Robots For Ages Six and Up

The Thames And Kosmos SolarBots Cosmic Explorers STEM Experiment Kit introduces young minds to the power of renewable energy through hands-on robotics. This battery-free engineering set allows children to construct five unique, space-themed robot models that operate entirely on alternative energy. At the heart of the system is Helio, a main motorized core featuring a compact solar panel, an electric motor, and a gear wheel. Young engineers can easily swap this central core across four different space exploration vehicles using an innovative click-and-go system. As the gears seamlessly click into place, the solar panel transforms sunlight directly into electricity to drive the motorized mechanics. The kit provides parts to build a two-legged walking bot, a six-legged crawling bug bot, a three-wheeled rolling trike bot, and a spinning orbiting platform. Accompanied by a thirty-six page, full-color instructional manual, this educational kit guides children through step-by-step assembly while teaching real-world science concepts about photovoltaic technology and mechanical physics. It is the perfect gift for kids who love space exploration, building, and scientific discovery.
