The EquiVizor Solar Vizor Horse Fly Mask in Size Full provides essential care for horses requiring specialized eye protection. Engineered to block up to 99% of harmful ultraviolet rays, this mask is highly recommended for horses managing medical conditions such as uveitis, known as moon blindness, corneal ulcers, light sensitivity, and head shaking syndrome. The unique design features a domed structure with a solid durable EVA lining that keeps the rigid PVC mesh securely up and away from the horse's eyes and eyelashes. This increased distance ensures superior comfort and prevents the irritation often associated with traditional flat fly masks, leading to higher acceptance by the animal. Constructed for both safety and durability, this mask is designed to withstand daily use while providing a protective barrier against flies, insects, dust, and debris. The included safety breakaway clips ensure the mask can detach if caught on external objects like fences or branches, offering peace of mind for horse owners. This versatile gear is suitable for use in the stable, during turnout, and can even be worn over a bridle for riding, making it an indispensable tool for equine health management.

    FAQ

Is your horse prone to rubbing their mask off?

The EquiVizor is designed with a unique wraparound structure that many horses find more comfortable than standard masks. This increased clearance away from the eyes often reduces the urge for horses to rub or remove the headgear.
What is the best fly mask for uveitis?

For horses with uveitis, a mask offering high-level UV filtration is crucial. The EquiVizor is specifically engineered for this purpose, providing up to 99% UV protection and a dome design that prevents contact with sensitive or ulcerated eyes.
Can horses see through fly masks in the dark?

While horses have excellent night vision, any fly mask will slightly reduce light transmission. It is recommended to remove the mask at night unless your veterinarian advises otherwise for medical treatment of conditions like uveitis.
Are these products authentic USA imports?

Yes, all beauty, health, and personal care items available at Rudra Retails are 100% authentic and sourced directly from the USA to ensure quality for our customers.
Does the mask include ear and nose covers?

This specific Solar Vizor model is designed primarily as a protective eye visor to maximize comfort and UV protection for horses with medical eye issues, rather than a full-coverage face mask.
