The Powertools Form And Function Hair Perming System by Dennis Bernard is a professional-grade, buffered acid perm designed specifically for chemically compromised, delicate, and fragile hair types. Featuring an innovative self-heating exothermic formula with a gentle pH of 6.5 to 7.0, this system generates its own low heat to process safely at room temperature without requiring heavy salon dryers. It is the ultimate conditioning treatment for hair that has undergone high-lift tinting or contains over 50% highlights, maintaining complete hair integrity while delivering remarkable support and volume. The standout feature is its 4Bond technology infused Triple Bonding Neutralizer, which simultaneously restructures disulfide, salt, and hydrogen bonds to eliminate frizz and secure a uniform, controlled curl pattern. In just 5 to 10 minutes of fast processing time, it creates a soft yet exceptionally firm curl. Imported directly from the USA, this complete one-application perming kit ensures consistent, reliable results while protecting vulnerable hair structures from over-processing.

    FAQ

How long do I leave the neutralizer in?

The Triple Bonding Neutralizer should generally be left on the wrapped perm rods for at least 5 minutes to allow the formula to successfully reconnect the disulfide, salt, and hydrogen bonds. Always monitor the hair structure closely during this stage to ensure even curl fixation and optimal conditioning.
What kind of hair cannot be permed?

Extremely damaged, severely broken, or over-processed hair that has lost all its natural elasticity should not be permed. However, this specific Form and Function Acid Perm is specially formulated with a buffered pH to safely process fragile, delicate, high-lift tinted, and heavily highlighted hair that regular alkaline perms would ruin.
Is a special dryer needed to process this acid perm?

No, this system features a buffered, self-heating exothermic formula that generates its own gentle heat. It is designed to process efficiently at room temperature under a plastic waving cap using the client's own body heat, eliminating the need for external salon dryers.
Is the Powertools Form and Function Perming System sold on Rudra Retails authentic?

Yes, all products available on Rudra Retails are 100% authentic. This professional hair perming system is sourced directly from authorized suppliers in the USA and imported to India, ensuring salon-grade quality and genuine formula integrity.
What is included inside this perming kit?

This complete professional perming system includes one application kit consisting of the waving lotion, activator, triple bonding neutralizer, and a plastic waving cap.
