Gehrke Gink Dry Fly Dressing is the world-renowned premier choice for anglers seeking exceptional buoyancy and high-riding dry flies. This premium liquid emulsifier and silicone gel paste features a unique specific gravity that is lighter than water, ensuring your fishing flies stay dry and perfectly buoyant for an extended useful life. Formulated to melt clear at skin temperature, the light paste easily permeates deep into the body materials, whether you are using synthetic materials, fur, or delicate feather fly materials. Upon contacting cold river or lake water, the dressing reverts to a clear, invisible gel that forms a durable barrier against moisture without matting your fly hackle. It provides a natural surface drift to increase your chances of a successful catch, making it an essential accessory for every serious angler's chest pack or vest.

FAQ

Gehrke Gink works exceptionally well with a wide variety of dry fly patterns, including those made with natural furs, feathers, and synthetic materials. It easily penetrates delicate hackles and body dubbing to restore buoyancy without altering the fly's silhouette or weighting down the presentation.

No, it does not. Because the premium paste melts completely clear at skin temperature before application, it liquefies enough to deeply penetrate the materials without clumpiness, keeping your fly hackles light and perfectly separated.
