Color Oops Extra Conditioning Hair Color Remover offers a reliable, bleach-free solution to reverse unwanted permanent and semi-permanent hair dye applications. Operating through a unique process that shrinks color molecules instead of stripping the hair structure, this treatment allows you to simply wash away the undesired pigment in just twenty minutes. This specific formulation is tailored for fragile or dry hair types that need extra care. Enriched with nourishing aloe vera and structural soy protein, it actively conditions and helps restructure your strands during the color correction process. Ideal for individuals looking to re-color their hair on the same day or simply return to a lighter base after an accidental dark box dye application, it ensures your hair remains soft and manageable. This convenient two-pack system guarantees you have enough product for complete coverage or multiple applications, making it a staple for at-home hair transformations.

FAQ

Yes, it is highly effective at removing permanent and semi-permanent oxidative dyes by shrinking the artificial color molecules so they can be washed out. However, it will not remove direct-application stains like vibrant pinks or greens, nor will it restore hair that has been previously bleached.

No, this formula is bleach-free and ammonia-free, meaning it does not lift natural hair pigment or degrade the hair shaft like traditional bleach baths. The Extra Conditioning variant specifically includes soy protein and aloe vera to protect and soothe fragile hair during the process.

Mix the bottles thoroughly and apply to dry hair, letting it sit under a plastic cap for twenty minutes. The most critical step is rinsing under warm water for fifteen to twenty minutes while shampooing frequently to ensure the shrunken dye molecules are completely flushed from the hair strands.
